Why dont you get all the others to read Duff. The ones written by Franks son and another dude. I think there were 6 prequels and 4 or 5 sequels to Franks books

I had to give up after the first few.

I quite liked the first one, and liked the second, but then found they started to feel like the same story retold.

It's great when you re-read a series, and you know you have 8 books that you are going to enjoy.

God emperor was the best one. Forced ecology and terraforming.

Umm, Australian Fish Farmer second edition by John Mosig & Ric Fallu. Read the first edition many years ago and recently found a second hand copy of the second edition so thought I would give it a read.

Does anyone know of a book where the author attempts to find out what's in a meal. From mcdonalds (I think), then makes a meal of stuff he has collected/hunted from the wild.

It has the line "you are what you eat eats" and talks a lot about the foundation of american food and everything being corn. I think it also describes a farm on 500 acres with a lot of really sensible methods, its own abattoir for processing chickens and selling direct to the public. .

Does that ring any bells with anyone?

I read it a while ago but cant remember the title or who wrote it, and want to buy it for someone as a new baby in the house present.

Well that's just not fair.

I did that as well a week ago, and got hits that had nothing to do with him!

But that link is interesting. If not for the net failing me a week ago*, I never would have been shown that link :)

*or perhaps me typing "you eat what eats you" or something, instead of "you are what you eat eats" - who knows, but it could have been one of those nights :)
