it's 2am bedtime at house bullwinkle, and I record the following...

Overcast

ambient outside temp is 10c

hothouse air temp is 12c

FT temp is 16c!

16c!

that's more than 6 hours after sunset on a day that never hit 16c!

I could start an after-hours, hothouse, retirement village, nudist colony*!

*Eugghhhh!(see^)

I think this now officially qualifies as a chat rather than forum posts.

I'm a potter, so Spending the night turning up kilns every 30 minutes is hard-wired into what used to be my brain.

You're not supposed to inhale the fumes coming from the kiln BW (they might make you act funny). Nevermind

So, to answer your question about the liquids. It depends on if the milk was in the fridge or not. If it was in the fridge, then it will be slightly warmer to add the milk first and let it go down together because you don't get that extra 10 minutes of refrigeration. Probably wouldn't be overly noticeable though.

If however the milk is on the counter as well, then when you combine them it should be close the same temperature, except for the increase in surface area (assuming you're just using a glass or a milk jug or whatever that isn't a thermos) for the separated liquids. Apart they obviously have greater surface area.
