Greenedo, um, I'm not worried at all about lack of oxygen in my (as yet nonexistant) system as it will be a recirculating system with opportunities for oxygenation. Our tanks/pond will be a minimum of 3 feet deep (in our present design), and all of our beds will gravity feed back into the tank (avoiding the need for a second pump), or gravity feed through two or three tanks, for shrimp, crayfish and then fish.... I think that will deal with oxygen issues.

I think i like most others here on the forum start a small system just to get a bit of hands on and simply because we "Just Gotta!!!" or well explode with impatience. Plus i think its just human nature to question and think we can always improve on things "VIVA LA DIFFERENCE" i say .But having said that when i get my big system ill be walking very much in the footsteps of others .
