Has anyone here gone on a several day juice fast like in the movie. The guy in the movie went to the US and did a 60 day juice fast. The idea was to lose fat and toxins kind of mark a dramatic transition to a healthier lifestyle and eating habits.

My wife and I did the first week of Tracy Andersons Omniventric workout / eating plan and we lost tons of weight quickly - it wasn't strictly juice but it was def bare bones close to it

Weight loss is simply calories in vs. calories used. Any restriction of calorie intake or increase in calories used can cause weight loss.

What I've noticed for me is slower is better. If I lose more than 2 lbs a week it has a tendency to bounce back on as soon as I stop dieting.

There are many thousands of diet plans but with all of them there is calorie restriction. Just find what works for you and you can stick with it. Then change it up when you plateau (stop losing weight). If juicing is working for ya, go for it!

Are you human?: hmm, fishy question

A few things to keep in mind, most fruit and many vegetables have high concentrations of sugar, natural as it is, still not good for you in high doses.
If you are looking to lose weight, this will have a negative effect on that idea.
So, juicing 6 oranges is not better for you than eating one whole orange. Carrots have more sugar than some fruit.
High speed centrifugal juicers reduce the nutritional value of any juice by the temperatures generated, the auger style slow reving juicer is best type.
