With the system in the living room I'm SURE you won't ignore it Jeff ;] Also, be sure to be very careful about leaks and system integrity, don't want the FT flooding your living room.

All looks fine on my end, PLUS, very exciting, I'm pretty sure the tilapia are breeding!!! I saw what looked like one of them mouth brooding a school of fry, teeny tiny black fry!!! don't have my camera for a couple of weeks but will try to show you guys the babies ASAP

Hey Abdul...I'm going to be starting a system very soon now. My first aquarium is so fun, that I know aquaponics will be too much fun for me !

My next pay day is June 20th...!

I'm going to buy as much stuff that I need as possible from the local "fishy business" in the next town over...and then I'm going to buy the rest from Amazon.com. Finally, after everything is up and running I'll buy a few fish to cycle my tank.

I'm so excited!

Alls well on my end, though I haven't seen the baby tilapia since. Put some goldfish eggsinto a thing in the tank too.

Also I din't mention, couple of days ago I took those pipes out of my bathtub, had seen a tilapia just hiding there and bulllied into staying in. loads of politics happening there, fun to watch

Sorry, I didn't build my system yet...I was sick this week...still am getting over it.

Anyways, next week, I plan to start purchasing the equipment, etc. for using my current fish tank...possibly a separate fish tank...but probably not...and growing a small aquaponics system with the current setup.

Also, my avatar (picture next to my name on the forums) is my little puppy teddy bear i've had since I was a child.

I lost two more tilapia today, the little ones, comes from igoring the system yesterday i guess, all else seems fine.

All seems fine, no dead fish to report *yay*

Continues fine! Really really need to pull out the vines out of the little AP, and fill up the tub to the top, immense amounts of Algae in it, and mosquitoes breeding in there too now :[

Gave a talk on gardening today though, to a hall full of women and girls, quite exciting, took a bit to get them under control but after the first couple of minutes I had the group eating out of my hand I have a couple of more talks with them so will fill them in on AP as well.

All seemed fine today, lemon grass has gotten really tall, tilapia still fighting.

All's been trucking along guys, sorry I've been MIA. WIll put up a video update soon as I can manage.

Thanks Bigdaddy, I noticed the one year being up too yesterday :yay: Planning on celebrating the system's birthday in a couple of weeks once it hits.
