The pellets are 1-1,5mm sized, they should be perfect, they float for a while than they sink.

I have lost the thread, dont know how much have I lost, it should be close to 50... :(

It is just so weird that you are losing fish at such a rate for no apparent reason. I wonder if there is possibly some kind of toxin floating about your system? This should not be happening. Have you heard from your friend molj? Are his dying too?

I think its just stress. They are in carenteen as well now, and if it would be toxic they all sould be dead by now.

They are so small you can realy see inside tham, and as I have a branch that is older a little, I can see the difference. The guts of the little ones are empty (its white), the big ones has stuff in it(its dark).

Im down to arround 20 today morning. My problem is that there is the other groop who are fine, and feed well, this bugs my mind. I felt bad about the little guys on the weekend, but just as a real mass murderer, I just got used to the feeling :/ I ran out of ideas, I just sit and hope.

RupertofOZ@ They where packed in a nylon bag with oxygen, we made aprox the same distance with molj. This meens I did something wrong. :/

The "new" fish feed has arrived, by post. Its two different sized ones, one is red, the other is green. I added some but they dont seem to "love" it. Hope they'll pick some up...

Something popped into my mind, when you transfered fish from the bag into the system or into quarantine did u:

1. put the bag to float in the system for 15-20 mins (to let the temperature in the bag equalize slowly to the outside temp)
2. pour in system water at about 1/3 of bag's water volume after those 15-20 mins and wait another 10 mins
3. pour in another 1/3 of system water after those 10 mins
4. and then putting the fish in the system or quarantine

?

Yes thats exactly what I made.
1. The bag floted for around 30 minutes.
2. The bag ph where 8,5, while the system is arround 7 - 7,5 so I made a 1/3 water change 3 times, with a delay of aprox 1 hour between each.

Pff, the little bastards scarred the shit out of eachother, or it was me somehow, but Im sure we only they be all dead by tomorrow.

I called my freind who works for a local fishery. He looks around and I might get some replacement. He said its just a matter of time. :thumbright:

Meanwhile the big ones are ok, all this afternoon I was making 1/4 water changes for tham, to lower their ph similar to the system ph (8->7,0) I have to move tham to the big system as we go on a short holiday next week, and my mother will take care of tham. I want to make her job easy, chech pump + check the fish + feed. The system it self will handle the rest.

The greenhouse performs wonderfully. We had 3-4 cold days. They where are ~10C colder than regularly these times of the year. We had daily max. 18-20 while the nightly min. was 12-14.

The system water was down to 17, the fish eat much better in 20+. So I closed the door and the window for two days and voile the GH temp is 27, water temp is up to 20 while the daily max was 21. ;)

:upset:

F@ck! I thought it was my fault only. I feel sorry for making you join in. I called Márk he said nothing again, no solutions, no more fish, no money back. He is a real businessman that cares for his reputation, more over this cast a shadow on me as well... :(

Meanwhile the "highlander" is still swimming, but he is not in a good shape...
