Nice......... :thumbright: Faye wants one now, with a modification of having the top beam so that it will rotate, with a handle on the end so that you can wind up the pot to stoke the fire...

I do like the look of those Billman ones... Even found a forum just on cooking with campovens... :)

Just use different length hanging basket hooks :D saves trying to add winches, handles etc :thumbleft:

OR

you suspend a chain down from the top post and move the oven accordingly :mrgreen:

Hanging basket hooks sounds like a good idea... You can just leave them hanging there too I guess.. I like that big moves in height with the different hooks, then you can micromanage height with chain....

The advantage of having a a tall stand, hooks and chains don't get to hot..

look down the menu for camp ovens - with feet! Also heaps of stuff for smoking , preserving etc...
