This is just one leaf of a parsley plant growing in my aquaponic system. The large leaves are a variety called italian parsley, not bad eh? It made a nice accompaniment to the fresh eggs from our new chooks, which was quicly and easily turned in to scrambled eggs.

Its not AP just out of the ground, my first Jicama (they are supposed to be about the size of a grapefruit)
Tasted good I ate a fair bit and the rest given away to a few from the community garden.
Plenty more to go too
AP doesn't happen here, till next year this year was Solar PV and Water (no more money left)

Its the only parsley worth using IMO. Lots of flavour that the curly stuff doesnt have. I always have it growing

Big in Mexican and northern Sth American cuisine !

If you got a Mexican cookbook and it's got jicama in the ingredients, you know it's an authentic book !

I have been looking over this thread and I have a question for ,Hydrophilia, as he has the most vegetables of a large size. There is cauliflower, leek, beetroot and celery and they are huge! Just what are you adding to your water Hydrophilia?
