Is there any issues with mixing goldfish with silver perch?

I can get 20ish goldfish that are roughly 7 - 15cm for free that im thinking of putting in my Silvers tank until im finished making a small system that my kids can see into and feed the goldfish (650l IBC with 300l GB on top).

My SP's are only little 5 - 8cm... will the goldies 'rough em up'?

I dont think so. I have 3 goldies with about 15-20 silver perches. They have no issues, the goldies are like part of the pack haha.

But then again they are all the same size or roughly the same.

Wouldn't matter what size the SPs are, they won't bother the goldies.

depends how much you feed 'em Merrick. They eat a lot = they poo a lot. As to whether they like it - hard to tell

Important thing is to feed the goldfish good food as well. I feed the goldfish the same feed for trout.
