Thahitan Noni International have been awarded a PATENT (and you need proof your product working these days for one of these! ) on thier tahitaian NONI juice product formulation for the Treatment and prevention of diabetes. ...............suck on that one FDA.

And whats in it?
89% Tahitan Noni juice 5.5% blueberry juice 5.5% grape juice.

I did it... I "aquired" some struggeling mirical fruit seedlings today... poor things were straining for sunlight and were in dry soil, so I decided to "take the poor buggers home"... I only got 8, but only expect 3 or 4 to make it (well, I hope at least that many survive)... the soil where they were growing was heavy with the roots of the parent plant and a nearby tree, so getting them out was VERY difficult indeed!
They are now in their own grow bed with a dedicated pump - hope for the best!

update on the Miracle Fruit / Miracle Berry (Synsepalum dulcificum Daniell) - the largest seedling 'aquired' looks sad, but has not dried out... as for the outhers, they look the same as when I 'aquired' them, ... One site suggested that you create a "tent" over the cuttings/seedlings ,made out of clear plastic and sticks, when attempting to propogate the plant - so this will be tomorrow's little project (I will use the LARG bag that my barramundi came on as it is definately large enough for the job - might trap some heat and encourage root growth!

i have a fig cutting in preperation at my grandfathers house. He has applied some of the old counrty black arts. Dunno if its grafted, or if its just from a proven "stock" from some relo, but its there waiting for me :)

Also an apricot tree, and i think a plum..............

I have a concept for fruit trees and aqua...............just let me refine it.

Picture a fig tree growing out of a bulka bin  original idea came to me as a way to stop its damned roots from finnishing off my shitty sewerage (haha pun) pipes that need unblocking every two years. One of the ceramic pieces has "dropped" 5cms or so. and fig roots are diabolical. The boss has a fig tree thats sprouted up at the back of his house, i dug down and found the parant root that was about 15cms diameter easy. scoped over the fences and found the parent tree..............about 2 diagonal house blocks away. They really seek out water.......the destroying part comes next

just some more info on stevia!

option one: wash you mouth with burning antibacterial

option two: chew stevia :)

Quote:
Stevia is best known as a sweetener, a sugar substitute. It also has enormous health benefits. It helps to regulate blood pressure. It inhibits the growth of some bacteria and infectious organisms, including the bacteria that cause tooth decay and gum disease. It improves digestion and gastrointestinal function and soothes upset stomachs. It can reduce the desire for tobacco and alcoholic beverages. Among its most effective uses are its exceptional quality as a weight loss and weight management product. Users have reported that when they take it every day, they have a marked decrease in their desire for sweets and fatty foods. Finally, the best-kept secret about Stevia is that it aids in the soothing out of facial lines. It was used centuries ago, to good effect, by the Caribbean Indians for just this purpose.

Bloody hell AM, now you've got me using the quote button :)

Wow two blocks! That's nature at it's finest right there.

Which stevia you have? I've got that rebaudina seed packets here somewhere I feel the school could have it as donation but it's meant to be really hard to germinate.

Maybe a challenge for AM's advanced biology buffs.
