If your resolution is set the way you like it you should be able to hold down the CTRL key and hit the Plus or Minus keys at the right of the keyboard and have your sizing go up or down as you like. Going down might be harder to read, but, it may put the full width of the forum on screen.

800x600 works, while 600x800 doesn't, is there a reason why?
I'm sure phpBB is capable of finding the shorter size maximizing it to 600px, while the longer size should not be more than 800px. Its a basic php function. If there is a wish list, please put this on.

Thx!

The difference is Portrait and Landscape mode. 800x600 is Portrait, 600x 800 is Landscape mode.
Same size in bytes but different to the forum rules. Can you fix that? so both will work.....

I downloaded the fix to XP and now it works but the size is reported to be 802x600. How can I fix that problem? forum wont accept that size.

Having trouble as well with landscape photos, turn 90 degrees to portrait position and resize, still comes up 600 x 800 and will not upload.

Even if I resize again to say 600 x 4?? It will still not upload, any answers please?

No problems uploading 800 x 600 photos

An easy way to resize pictures to 800 x 600 is by using Microsoft Image Resizer Powertoy. Once the small program from microsoft has been installed, you can just 'right click' any image and you have the option of resizing. Resizing to medium gives you the picture resized to 800 x 600 and renamed, so you don't lose your original picture.

To upload pictures, in either the public Album, or your own personal gallery, click 'album' at the top of the page. So long as your logged in, then in the Category section you'll have the option of uploading your pictures..

Easy....... Any troubles, just ask. :D

I'm sorry, but I can't find 'album' at the top of the page unless I'm posting a message. When I click on that 'album' it simply places [album][/album] in the text.

I do not see options for a public or a personal gallery.

I've been using Light Image Resizer for my photos. No problems so far. Still running Vista as well.
