Hi hellbent,
I'm surprised that you lost your tilapia as I thought you could only kill them by cutting their heads off.I had some jump out of the tank and I thought that they were well and truly dead and threw them back in the tank untill I worked out what I was going to do with them .when I came back they were all swimming around as nothing had happened.
The main problem that I have with them is that I can't get them to grow which I suspect is because they are inbread.From what some others are saying it could be that they were in too small a tank when they were young. If this is the case will they start to grow if they are put in a bigger tank or will they be forever small and should i just get rid of them and move on .They are a Mozambeque breed.

i cut back the taro this past weekend, about time i separated them out. not bad considering that i started of with 3 baby plants.. i ending up making taro chips with some of the corms. taro chips here cost $5 or a 2oz bag =(

i have bun long taro and piko kea variants in this picture. there are 80 varieties of taro.

in ibc right i have manini owali i think. that one has a purple stem.
