Any reason for the 5 minute edit window rather than enabling edits forever?

Means we can't edit our original post with updates from the conversation in the posts (I sometimes like to keep my posts clean by doing this).

Should be fixed, it was a permissions issue.

EDIT: Yup, fixed.

long term reason for this. Mostly because in the past there have been one or two disgruntled members who spat the dummy for whatever reason and went back and started deleting ALL their posts. We don't like that, so you get a five minute window now to do your fixes :)

thanks Bondy. who is burgertrap and how did they join all by themselves with no authorisation at all? :upset:

"View active topics" button isn't working ATM, still working on it.. But you can click "view new posts" on the top right and it does the same thing.

I "fixed" it - I'm going to explain it here, cos it's pretty funny. In order to get stuff to display on that page, you should have had to check "Display active topics" in that forum in the ACP. You, up until 3.0.6, you didn't. So in fact, it was broken all along and has only just started working xD

Anyway, it's working how it used to now.

Huimmm.. that's strange... "view active topics" has always worked for me.... :dontknow:

Anyway... who cares... all looks to be good to me...

No matter what settings I give the search form, when I search for chillidude I only get the post above.

Looks like old posts are not getting searched.

Edit: And now I have posted this one, searching for chillidude returns this post and the one above.
