- I have a constant flow of Air into the tank and let it sit for a day's to weeks Dependant on when it is needed..

The Other is used to collect Rain water of a colour-bond Roof..

The guys is in the Cranbourne area and advertises on Ebay.au..

$100 is a pretty good price... especially if the contents were benign...

Look on ebay and search for "1000 water"

1 mob in Laverton North. Used for "industrial liquid wax". Not sure what that means. $75 each.

1 mob in Mitcham. Used for "transport of fish and cod liver oils". $65 each.

Whilst I am at it, "Buttress to BSP" adaptor for IBC.

Quick question...

For a Fishtank would it be preferrable to have:

10 ibc's joined together

or

2 round 5000 Litre round tanks joined together

???

Yup....

Probably going to end up with 6000 litres of filter and 15 sqm of growspace.

Regarding the bottom drain(s), if it is going to be a gravity fed system, just make your own. You can use a plastic tub as a mold for concrete in which you can run your own air tubes though. You make it with pvc legs that you can cut to the appropriate height for your purposes. It is a good idea to coat with something like Pondguard to help with the durability. I think I found a link about this once, as that is what I did, so I will post once I find it.

Getting closer to handover!

Attached are a couple of pics to get a better idea of the layout I am implementing.

This photo shows the fishtank as marked out by the stakes and rope. Growbeds will bealong the back fence and on the retaining walls.

I'm going to reuse my old 2000L stock trough from my test system and a 5000L rain water tank.

I've already got a dozen IBC's which have been used for a couple of years as someone's drinking water tanks out in the bush.

Just need my damn house back and I can call in the excavator. I tried digging to find out how deep the sewer pipe was...took about an hour to dig a 300mm diameter by 300mm deep hole!
