Good choice monya... make sure to wear gloves when handling perlite... its kinda rough on the hands.

Maybe a mask too.... heard that the dust isn't very good for you.

Probably due to the fact that Perlite is a "crushed" silica glass...

literally could tear your lungs apart.... from the inside

Yeah, that's good... my guy up the road lists at $33 (inc) for 100ltr...

Haven't priced him for 600ltr... but at that rate = $198 so allowing for a "bulk" discount and assuming he's not a crabs behind that sounds fairly good to me

We pay about $28.50 for 100 litres of perlite in Bundamba, so your bloke's around the money.

Re the perlite.......that back of yours not looking too good for the next gravel wash, huh?
