Are you human?: Last time I looked
Location: South Guildford
Hi All.
I have finally gotten around to taking some photos of my system. FT=1200lt X 2, GB=140lt X 5. I have a pump in each FT, one pumps to the GB's and the other I am using to create current for the fish to swim against as well as pumping dirty water into the FT that pumps to the GB's. The return water comes back to the FT with the circulating pump so that the water is constantly being changed between the tanks. I also have an aerator delivering loads of oxygen through two air stones in each tank. Media is Hydroton expanded clay and it is all being feed with 40 Rainbows' and a handful of Western Pygmy Perch (if they are still alive  ) I have pans of adding a few more GB's and a Marron tank down the track. Between Aquaponics and Orchids, I now have NO spare time left
Cheers
A.J

Now that one proves that ap does not have to be ugly. It looks really great, a feature even!

Thanks for the comments. . . .we were going for the feature look, being a small block I didn't want tanks sitting everywhere. The only dilemma I have now is where to put more GB's and another FT  .
Cheers

You've been pretty creative so far - reckon you'll work something out to fit under those GBs !

Thanks Joel. . . . I should not have been so rude and introduced myself  The trout lurved the floaters, had to make a few modifications this arvo too, to accomodate the tank for the Pygmy Perch. Probably not a good idea doing it day before flying out for work, but it seems to be coping with the flow from the other tanks and the perch love their new space.
Cheers

Only one thing AJ, I'd like to see you pick out all of that expanded clay from around the growbeds when you get back... :laughing3: :laughing3:

They're feed troughs, I got them from Tank Master in Midland. . . . bit exy on price but suit my narrow gutted block better than the "normal" beds.
