This is work in progress! Ph is still 8.2 ammonia has been added and is 4ppm. Ft is 1000L ibc, and grow beds are IBC's cut down and the sump that supply's the FT and grow beds is 200L in ground and filled with package strapping for extra biological filtration.. Fish are en route being 55 blues (tilapia). I will be adding a 200L solids filter between the FT and sump this week. Will keep you guys and gals updated on my success and failures.

Welcome to the forum AZDave. :) I don't know where the San Tan Valley is but I am guessing it could be Arizona. :dontknow: Sounds like a good place for an AP system.

Oh, that's because I was a Kiwi, but my wife keeps me away from farm animals after that incident. Actually, we found that flock on our way home from a camping trip and I just dropped trousers and my buddy shot the picture. I had a truck drive by and honk their horn and give me a thumbs up. Whats a kiwi?

Good news about the system is that I added ammonia and a bit of father and son hummonia;) and the thing is starting to cycle.
pH 8.2
ammonia 3ppm
nitrate 15ppm
nitrite
2ppm

Sorry to get off topic with so little posts...

At least you have a sense of humour Dave.. Should see your pH start to come down soon with a bit of luck. :thumbright:
