Hi everyone, this looks like a great site!

I live near the center of the lower pennisula of Michigan, and it is our plan to get a aquaponics set up, maybe using yellow perch.

yellow perch are definitely a good choice.. a very tasty cool water fish.. they'll stress if the water gets into the mid to high 80's, and they are supposed to do well in culture with bluegill - i have yp and bg myself and am quite happy with them..
thinking about trout this fall!
