Thank you Jeff, you should go on dates with girls more often :thumbleft:

And spread the disease buddy! Every which way you can :D

I had a morning look at my systems by the way, and the transplanted basil isn't looking too good :/

On the other hand I saw some pictures of the Paki-ponics on facebook and the long cucumbers in that are flowering! Its immense I tell you, Immense!

Today I did trim that basil bush a bit, took off a couple of the braches, hopefully it should bounce back properly in a day or so.

All looked well today.

All looked the same, I think the small AP is a little starved on nutrients, need to up the fish count.

Got a couple of people now that I'm going to make systems for, not charging them any money but am claiming 3 beers as my pound of flesh :D

I figure once the word gets out I can put it together into a pretty kit in a box and make enough dosh to expand and feed my systems :D

Hey guys, so a bit backlogged I am, so here's catchup.

All seemed well yesterday, as it did today, the siphon has still gone crazy wonky and stuck on continous flow but about half the GB stays full of water so I think its ohkay, plants and fish seem ohk. Ate that long cucumber today, was good :D

Also pulled out all of the dirt tomatoes today, and mixed that soil with some old dry soil and a bag of compost and some egg shells and a banana and what not, finally day after tomorrow I will make that self watering bucket thingy.

Here are the updates from Sunday, and I've put up a couple of my performances in my astounding stories thread, have a look, in one of them I'm in drag :D

All was well in the system today, did bit of a top up on both my systems.

Pakiponics had a bit of a hiccup, apparently the siphon stopped working, all this got reported to me, Vicky dug up the system and cleared roots out of the siphon inlet, mucked about with the angle of the pipe, is working fine now. Plants have gone MAD! I know I keep saying that but seriously! It's barely a month old and it has a couple of long cucumbers on it that look like they'll be done in a couple of days...Lost a fish there too though, he said he flushed some water down into the SLO while topping it up so it popped out of the bottom pipe, seemed to have been stuck in there. I couldn't look at the body as he threw it over the balcony railing to his kitty

Thanks Chili :D All was fine.

Today did a bit more twiddling with the siphon by digging up the media cover and drilling more holes in it. Not sure if its 100% yet but its better and will get it all done in the morning.

Had a friend over, we were building a homemade pneumatic paintball gun, when we had to go run an errand, return one of his friend's fishing rod and bait box.

So went along to the museuem where there is a pond and the boys are allowed to fish as he donated his 9 foot python to the snake house there.

Found tilapia!

Loads and loads of them! Were a lot of big carp and koi in there too, we caught and released a couple.

Got a whole load of little tilapia, those that made it home are in a bucket with an airstone to quarantine them.

Three big ones are in the bathtub already. Really good looking fish! WIll show you guys the new arrivals tomorrow.

t does indeed Bill, I'm a big believer in God not letting any hard work go to waste :P

The big tilapia seem to be doing fine in the bathtub, they haven't eaten the goldies in it yet.

Lost about another dozen of the little ones, still got at least 8-10 more in the bucket so should still be good enough.

Also did hard work getting the self watering buckets up, they are up, at least I hope they are, and have chili plants in them.

I'll show it all off in tomorrows update video, them tilapia are really good looking fish :D
