hahahaha :laughing3: God save me from the day I start tasting seaweed chutney :P

I spent some time with normal people last night, after we shot some more of the video I went to a party with them, and it was exactly that :drunken: luckily for me I have another friend who lives in the same building so at 4 am instead of driving home I just staggered to his place. Then at 11 am lo and behold to everyone's mainly mine, shock and awe I awoke! Another buddy had called and we all loaded up and went to the beach! What a day :D

Sadly it didn't give me a chance to go and work on the Pakiponics, or my systems. Will go have a look at it all on the morrow :geek:

I haven't really started showing the AP to pretty young ladies Mantis but I intend to, I'll update when appropriate

Made updates today, on both the Paki-ponics and my system. Sorry about the bad light in the Paki-ponics video, next week will be better.

Hey Abdul! Awesome and very inspiring!

Congratulations to your friend on the sprouts and the clear water system!

Congratulations to you also for the tub ... it's now repaired!

Amazing stuff, enjoyed both videos.

Been a buzz by of a few days, mums still a bit down so frazzled.

Ate some longmelons out of the system though, and gave the sponge gourd to a friend, wonder if he ate it. Longmelons were frigging marvelous!

Today all looked well, one of the plecos had managed to swim up into the SLO, but he got out again, yay.

What a lot of sweet basil I have in the system, and the cuttings going well to, will make some more over the weekend hopefully.

All looking good in my AP, dirt tomatoes flowering again so should have a bit of them left still.

Visited the pakiponics today, its looks fabulous, plants raring along though no tomatoes at all have come up. Water is very clear and fish look very happy, also saw what looked like goldfish eggs in there, and one rea-a-ly fat goldie, so things coming along well. Its getting very hot though Waqas reports, we must build a small shade for it this weekend.

Okay so reading back on my thread I realize I may have overdone the seaweed extract as I put in a capful on Tuesday, and I put in a capful today as well. Made an update video, its below here, and also an update video of the Pakiponics system which is really going great guns, I mean seriously! I feel a little jealous even :/

Anyhow put number together on the dirt plants, so have gotten about 9 kilos of cherry tomatoes, 3.84 kilos of the orange tomatoes and 6.26 kilos of the red ones have come out of the containers, I think there are 15 of them with about 100 tomato plants all together, since they started ripening, first harvest was on 2nd Feb, even got one today, and some more yet to come as you can make out in the video. Do you guys think this is a good harvest or should I be getting more produce out of these plants?

Also, anyone have any idea why those long melons are curling that way? Dad told me they're not supposed to do that. makes a neat aquaponics ring though :geek:

More issues with the siphon again today, dug up the GB again but I don't think it did much good this time, must spend more time on it tomorrow.

Phew what a day :]

Finally got the bathtub system up and going  The fourth in the country is alive and flowing, still leaking a touch but thats just because I glued it together without putting on the union thing again  so lost about half an inch in hieght that had to be made allowance for and that allowance moved a couple of seals, nothing dangerous though.

Took the basil out of the old AP and put it into the continously flooded tub too. Made video of all this but YouTube is taking a strangely long time to process it, will post once its done :D
