Beer traps work a treat on slugs. We use 90mm stormpipe caps turned upside down, add some beer, watch the slugs come from miles around and drown themselves... :D

so what are you doing with all those slugs your harvesting?

Im sure I heard somewhere once that if you puree slugs or snails then spray it onto your plants its one of the best deterrents you can get... I think thats what it was anyway... I know you can do it with caterpillars :dontknow:

Otherwise you could always do a 'River Cottage' meal and cook the slugs after marinating...
waste not want not and all that  ... apparently they arent too bad - taste like snail

actually your already half way there... theyre marinated in beer

well despite it being the easter long weekend my supervisor has decided that tuesday the 26th is a grand day for my lit review and project poster to be due, so i am busy studying all weekend :support: which sucks.'

anyway, naturally studying = procrastination, and ive been doing my fair share
made a video of the trout, tested my water (ammo @ 0.25 :? will watch maybe there is a fish stuck somewhere but i think i have been overfeeding :shifty: )

and made a AP tea from sme memory herb (cant remember what its called  ) and mint :)
here is the vid. the end bit is me looking for any yabbies in the IBC drain
