Just an update barra going good can feed them lupin seeds but once they hit the floor they dont want them not scared of me i guess they know i feed them might have to try and get some perch or trout soon!!!!!!!

probley about a foot long i think u where looking at the photo of the minnows what i was feeding them :dontknow:

i am wanting to get some trout or Sp to put in my ap system the problem i have is the barra how big do the trout and sp have to be before the barra wont eat them barra are about a foot long

barra will eat any trout, unless the trout are same size. bigger. also if you have barra, its too warm for trout, and visa versa. same with SP.

my water temp is getting low 18 19 deg but barra are still very active morning noon and night

Ok i just set up my second pump on my system and seam to be working better then before all syphons working a treat will up load pics later on

Is any body trying to keep there barra over winter has anybody tryed it before with any success

just set up my new compost heater to work with my solar heater hoperfully i get enough heat to keep my barra going there still in and still feeding :headbang:
also got 15 sp to go in my other tank and a new stand for some more gb,s just need to set it up then will post photos
