You could kill two birds with one stone and look at mine while you're here looking at the trout :bootyshake:

Don't worry you'll get trout someday :support:

So I knocked off early and spent the afternoon planting out the AP. Put in watercress lettucex2 types, purple beans, savoy cabbage, coriander peas spring onion, celery, silverbeet

Nice... Good thing to be doing on your birthday... :thumbright:

I did work on my big system at home yesterday.. Haven't touched it in months, so it was nice to get into it... It surprises me that you can neglect an AP system quite badly and they still keep ticking along.

whats all this amazement with trout ?

I think I got mine an hour before freoboy and theyve been smashing the food for a couple days, don't you have trout yet Joel ? .....

heheh. I'd quite happily swap some trout to get to eat one of those ten year old silvers if youre really desperate

Finished the abfs, glad to get them done, airpump works a treat and is quieter than I expected :)
River rock in the bottom to weigh it down ...

25 mm holes in the bottom

2 airstones per abf, a big one and a little 'un :)

The final product, there's one of the river stones on the milk crate

Most climbing and bush beans are either a late winter early spring vegie, or late summer through autumn one. Broad beans are similar also, but they can handle the winter temps, they just dont grow.
