Apariantly went out after a few ails and thought he was putting in lime to buffer but no went to the bag of cement by mistake :oops:

I never put cement to FT
But in Thailand many people built FT with cement and many people inform others that new cement FT is poison to fish.
And they solve the problem by fill the new FT with water and put a lot of pieces of chopped banana tree to FT for weeks and then change water.

It's smell like ammonia when mixing cement.

I've heard of smoking your fish but not having them stoned, lol.

I would have thought that 1:1 dumping of cement vs. lime would not be that big a deal. If dumping a whole bag of lime, surely the FT was a fairly large pond....in which case a bag of cement would not be that big a deal....just saying. Link? What happened?
