Hi dose any body know where a good place to buy worms around the mandurah area
been reading up on all the posts and want to give them a go!!!!!!!!

They sell compost worms at bunnings?

yep, you have to ask sometimes, buit they are ususally next to the worms farms

Certainly do - well at least here in WA. Look for the yellow boxes near the worm farms.

Ah great will get me some this weekend. I have been patiently waiting for worms to show up on their own but they are taking their sweet ass time

Is there anyone near by to you who can give you a couple of handfuls to get you started?

You only need a few i have one bed thats been almost empty for a while and theres no worms in it

You got Victorian worms, the WA ones are better and cheaper http://www.wormshed.com.au/

Went to bunnings, 500 worms were $40+

We got our worms farms from Bunnings, no worms there back when we got ours, just a piece of paper with a list of worm suppliers. We ended up getting ours from a private line ad in the Quokka, 9Ltr bucket with 1000 for $20… don’t know if that’s good or bad?



If you are using them to start a worm farm then you could just throw all that soil, worms n' all into the farm.

But if you have to seperate them from the soil... worms don't like light or dry soil, put them in a bucket and keep removing the top layer of soil, they'll keep moving down until they run out of soil.

Given that nobody in their right mind is going to count out 1000 worms I'd say you got a very good deal, a 9L bucket from most worm farms would contain way more than 1000
