the days of non sponsored and unbiased lifestyle programs on commercial tv are long gone..some are just better at disguising paid advertorial as entertainment than others...The plethora of garden, cooking, travel, diy and makeover programs are great for getting ideas and having a sticky beak in other peoples lives...however I find that it is forums like this containing a wealth of experience and enthusiasm that provide better value for money!

The take home message I got from his mention of AP, was the endorsement of the particular brand of water plants that he was flogging (available at all good nurseries )

we can only hope that people who hear about AP from these places, at least find us next...

Nailed it in one Orcy..if a show mentions a brand (combined with a seemingly innocent closeup of the product) then informing has been replaced with selling.... therefore dollars and a client are involved and so called expert presenter's objectivity has gone out the window...
