hmm maybe my math isnt so good :?

im feeding 3% by body weight atm (20grams a day food for 40 fish) is this not enough/too much/ just right???

Go with your gut feeling, and their reactions, sounds alright to me. They will eat a higher percentage of their body weight when young, this decreases as they grow though.

At that size they could go more. Why not just feed to satiation ?

You know they're maxing out then.

They're great :) the tank is sitting on 20 so a little warm for first thingbin the am but heaps of air going in so not to worried :) gonna do some planting this morning :D

3mm floating as I have about 8kg in the freezer still.

Despite the size of the SPs I never could wean the buggers onto larger pellets - they always left 'em alone. No idea why, but I eventually gave up after 6 months and just went with what kept 'em happy.
