I have a few with a hole or 2 i drilled into them

Anyone know how to "glue" other pieces over the hole? I tried food safe sealant but that came off after a while.

are aluminum rivets bad for the water? i peice of a tote lid cut to cover the hole by a few inches, silicon it and rivet it, seems like it would do the trick permanently.+
