FB - if it won't break, you just gotta slowly choke your GB inlet flow with a ball valve til you find the happy medium - or drill more breathers into your bell or cut the bell legs higher. Easy brah! The reason it doesn't break is because the inflow is too much to create an air pocket! It's worth tinkering with for experimentation sake!

Ahh - ye haveth wee faith, Grasshopper!

Besides, all you gotta do is remove the bell and -VOILA- it's a standpipe - again!

I'm glad to see that you are broadening your horizons, mate. There are many ways to skin the proverbial!

yeah yeah yeah

SO
trout look like they will be here on friday, or the W/E  looks like we have a cold change coming thru on thursday, so i will pull out the barra wed night, leave the system to its own devices for a few days and then put the trout in. from my experience the weather over here tends to either be summer or winter, so hopefully it wont warm back up again (yeah right, with all this dodgy weather wouldnt be surpriseed with a winter heat wave :shifty: )

hopefully my balls will turn up this week too, ive been waiting for ages for them (BIOBALLS get your head out the gutter) then i can finally finish my ABFs
so 40 trout arriving this w/e, 10 of which arnt mine, but a mates with a new AP system that has just cycled (1000L FT and 2or300L GB+ more on the way) so excited :bigsmurf: :bigsmurf:
