What are your tanks temps like over there?

I checked mine this morning and with the air temp getting down to 18 over night the tank was down to 24. When I check in the afternoons it is usually around 27. :( More waiting for me.

By the time we will get them they will be plate size so we can bypass the fish tank and put them straight into the freezer.

Got down to 5 last night here so the jades look like being harvested very soon even if small and trout can go in any time

Email will be going around tonite Zman... at this stage .... NO Rainbows....

Can source some Brook Trout... but they're supposed to be fairly large... which will limit the amount I can transport to about 500 per trip....

And adding up the enquiries... there's about 2500 required...

Sorry no chance of that at all, the tanks are that heavily stocked there is no room for the fish to grow. Usually I would have thinned them out by now but the water from the dam is still to warm for me to utilize the lower tanks. Lost a few yesterday as well when there was a power outage for 3.5hrs and I wasn't here. The backup system saved me from total disaster but its obviously not enough with the biomass I currently have. As EB says its not looking like I can move any Trout for at least another week and most likely longer. Maybe Barra will be an all year option in Perth this year!

Hui, how many trout were you thinking ???

Update... someone walked in and brought all the remaining Brook trout last week.... :upset:

But, today I confirmed availability and pricing on 2500 Rainbow trout....

Most are pre-allocated... including a number for myself... but there might be a few spares...
