Could be worse Gnash, I had a German Shepherd that used to eat my fish if I took her fishing with me... sadly she died the other year.... maybe just as well 'cause she would also willingly dive underwater in rock pools/swimming pools etc, so I figure an AP system would have been just an addition to her diet.

Oh, forgot to mention, bloody dog would spend up to (I'm not kidding) 3-4 hours paddling around in the lagoon at the back of the block

Nothing like a loyal pooch though

i'm going to get one of those tap timers for when refilling the tanks. that way i won't wake the same mistake i make continually. i'll pay for the timer with them money i save on wasted water.

Ha! gova ment (sure it was the libs) did a way with the "excess" long time ago in vic! now you pay for what you use and there are teired billing rates for the more you use.

Tella ya what though i don't recon many people realise how much water is how much water! Just yesterday i was having a convo with a girl and she "couldn't belive" that a bathtub was 200LT (probably more actually)

Look at my system thread in a few hours, there will be a picture of the water flow rate from my pissy little pump. it only took about 30mins to empty 700 odd litres onto the lemon tree, and it wasn't like the ground was soaking or anything. The rate out of the pipe is about half what the tap is when full on.

it would be interesting for some one to take a meter reading before and after an dirt garden watering session.

Steve
