Well done... go easy on the feed though... it still takes a while for the bacteria to take up the full bioload with feeding...

Also you might want to consider covering the sides of the growbeds to block the sunlight out... otherwise you will be growing algae...

Yup will have light feeding 1-2 a day.

I will be buying some shade cloth this weekend hopefully and the FT and the GB will get covered :thumbleft:

Nice :) feed a tsb a day any watch your levels, whenit stays on 0, increase to 2 tsb etc etc. Your almost there:)

Thanks guys.

I will be feeding a bit and see how that does. I cannot catch any of the SP and i dont know how many is left (possibly 23). How can i tell how much to feed them?

Should i just go by the water tests? When say ammonia reaches such and such i should stop feeding?

They seem to be water logged. Should i change it to 15 on 45 off now? I have had it constant flood till now or should i just lower the stand pipe a bit more?

Feeding by weight is the optimum silvers eat algae on the tank walls i just feed slowly till they arent interested you will soon get an idea
ATM the silvers get 1 handful where the trout get 4 handfuls
Sometime i go back to the trout tank in one hr and give more
