Are you human?: trying my hardest
Location: NorthLake WA
Hey Zman...I have just been through the agonising daily ritual of testing and seeing no change and wondering what I am doing wrong and what changes I should make, and do I have enough filtration, and should I feed the fish etc etc during the cycling process...

I am no expert (only lost my cycling virginity last week!!!).
I am only running 10 silvers in a 1400L tank with about 280L of filtration and grow bed. I had readings of 5+ for nitrites for nearly 12 days. I ran 3ppt salt in the pond and did very minimal feeding. The silvers had no problems.

So as every body keeps saying hang in there mate
There is a cycling graph I made on my thread if you are interested.

HAHAH yes im waiting to see the purple rather the red.

My tank is currently 27.4 degrees, should i just leave it alone? Gold fish are happy swimming around eating the duck weed. Found another soft tail so another yabbie is dead  not happy but not sad either lol

Found another thing thats pretty interesting, grass hoppers can stand on water/swim :P

LOL ya cant find them, seems like they are gone. (now the silvers are only 7-8cms so probably couldnt fit a 2-3cm grass hopper in its mouth).

Also FT back down to 25 degrees. Hope it doesnt heat up too much today.
