Thanks for the welcome. You sure know how to make a girl feel welcome. :lol: No freoboy, no system yet. Any suggestions? I want to start out small and of course money is an issue.

Also, I'm not that internet savvy, and don't know my way around a forum so if I make a major etiquite blunder I apologize in advance.

P.S. I am also a terrible speller :oops:

i started with small system based on travis hughey's barrelponics,
http://www.backyardaquaponics.com/Travis/Barrel-ponics-Manual.PDF

see what you can find for fishtanks and growbeds, and go from there.. 55 gallon drums work ok for growbeds, you can probably find "IBC" totes used, and fairly cheap (i've seen them on craigslist for from $55 to $150, just make sure that whatever was transported was food safe

Recycling materials is what alot of us like to do. No shame in scrounging. Just look what you can do for the environment :D
Check your thread often and update us on how you are doing. Lots of encouragment here on this forum.

Back up and running. I should have spent more time this winter learning all the ends and outs. Spring and summer sure get busy. Hope everyone is doing well. I just realized when I type a word wrong it lets me know. Amazing.

I am new to AP as well and I've just got a system cycling. It has been an absolute blast and more fun than I even thought it would be. This site is full of explanations, diagrams, and great people at your finger tips to guide you and me both every step of the way. Best of luck getting started!
