They will be AP cams, just keeping them a bit closer until I sort them out streaming wise lol.

These cams are able to be moved by the viewer, it is still not the fastest, but it is better than before. Browse around the garden and see what you can see :)

worked with firefox for me v3.6.13 without the afore mention app

was bit dark to see much and i couldnt zoom but pan and tilt worked fine

No zoom, and due to the cams being inside plastic covers the IR lights cant be used, so it's normal white light only.

It's great having the lights inside the big tanks, the fish just swarm around them picking up bugs :headbang:

Obo,
Have you considered moisture getting under the camera and evaporating into it. Most I have dealt with are only IP56 if installed under an overhang.

Pretty cool idea :)

You could look at a free re-streaming service. Basically you stream it once, and they distribute it for you, with their much higher bandwidth :)

You wouldnt be able to have the remote control feature though which is pretty neat.

I notice on your latest link the FR is very high. If you reduce this it will also reduce your upload utilisation.

Other things I've seen done is uploading a static image to a website (say your ISP's member space) every X seconds and direct people to that page instead.

Until the NBN rolls around this sort of thing isnt really feasible on ADSL with our joke upload speeds.
