Helllooo! Got my i/technology sorted thanks to Roger from Reception.
Having a ball, being treated like a queen, umm, I mean royalty. the gardens are to die for. I have a few pics mmmm! Up at 8am and on the move, which was 3am (home) real time, not that I'm complaining.
Overlooking Buckmans Bay and going to the wine island tomorrow on the ferry with the car. I have been picking my bottom jaw off the ground all day. Dinner at the Beachhouse tonight was a seafod salad, didn't take my camera doh! Must be losing my edge.

Monach butterflies just love those "swan" plants....

I guess they aren;t considered weeds over in NZ..

I knew where there was a big patch of them down near a local lake here. At the right time of year you would go down there and Monarch butterflies would be everywhere, beautiful site watching them all fly around..

The patch of swan plants was in the middle of a weedy area of grass almost waste deep, that no one ever went into, and it was never mowed..

One day I saw a council guy in there trying to push through the grassy weeds, he was spraying all the swan bushes in amongst the other weeds.. I've never seen the monarchs down there again..

Those hedgehogs are ugly. I grew up in NZ & they were a common site but they are just as ugly as i remember.
