Cucumbers have grown and cropped wery well the people that have had them say are the best they have ever had. i dont eat them myself.

far out Jim, are you having much fighting in the yabbie tank?Looks like just yabbies in there, have you got that hooked up to another tank with fish in it or is it servicing its own growbeds?

Tanks are conected fish in one and yabbies in the other both tanks service all grow beds and not much fighting only the odd claw in the tank. check out 2nd tank instalation. earlier pic's.

Jim,just wondering if you have sexed the yabbies(no pun intended).
I found that if you do, the males grow out faster and they are less territorial (in dams anyway).Malataga used to buy them from the station where I worked in esperance and their rep always recommended sexing for faster growth and less damage.

No just counted them in and watched them for a while a lot of activity for a day or so but seem to have found there own spots in the tank .

does the quarantine issue worry you at all? i would hate to see you loose fish due to introducing a pest/ disease with the yabbies.

BF did not give it a thought the dam where they came from is very clean and full of silvers and every thing looks very healthy.
