Good effort though Prawnz getting them this far, the last week or two have been pretty tough. I wonder how No Wukins has fared?

I aim for the last weekend of March, should have cooled down enough by then. There's also less likelihood that you would get a warm night at that time of the year and that's what I find is the killer.

+1... or perhaps mid April depending on location...

Well I'm thinking sooner, just checked my water temps and found 11.6C after a cold night last night, and judging by the (lack of) Summer i'd be game enought to start my trout in the coming weeks. I will be starting to look for a stockist soon.

I dint think we will be puttin trout in till mid April here, too bloody hot ATM, hottest summer on record I think??

We just had our wettest summer on record and only about 3 days of 40+

And melbourne only had a record breaking 4or5 days over 35! Here trouty trout trout!

Probably a silly question ..... is there a way of cooling water?

I'd love to be able to grow trout here if it was possible.
