hey dicko

i have had a fungal ear infection for years... dubbed mushroom ears... i also went to gps and the like to get it treated with no real relief.. i used hydrogen peroxide with some relief but it isnt as strong a solution as it used to be,,

until one day i was in agony and couldnt put up with it any longer and syringed my ears out with a weak bleach solution.. not recommened!!!!!!!! but it did work..

i havent had any major outbreak of the mushie ear since..but i still would not suggest using bleach...try vinegar.. or weak(diluted) oil of cloves on a cotton bud.. supposed to be the best mould get-rid-of-naturally treatment at present.

but also... try looking into other health aspects... i also got diagnosed as gluten intolerant and since changing my diet have not had a major outbreak of mushie ear..and have been swimming in water holes and dams since.. there has been a number of other small improvements as well but wont list them cos the are not to do with ears..

but .. my gp ....who oftens states the doctors are the leading cause of death in this country.... that mistakes by them lead to more deaths than heart disease and smoking combined each year... also said that sea water is not that clean anymore... e coli and other bugs are washed into the ocean by stormwater drains and so it is easy to get sicker from the water..

good luck!!

+1 for H2O2

I use to have wax build up problems which resulted in infections a couple of times. I have used 5% H2O2 which cleared up the infection almost instantly. Makes for interesting sound effects when it first goes in :)

Cheers
Dennis

H2O2 is certainly good stuff. Have not used in ears, but any time I get an ulcer these days I just put a dab on and invariably the ulcer is gone within a day. Nothing like a good frothy mouth too :-)

I bought some 3% h2o2 this morning just in case the salt fails.

The recovery has not made great advances, but it also has not progressed into the painful state that it usually does either.
Yesterday I made a small device to gently blow filtered air deep into my ears to help everything dry out as the salt is tending to hold moisture.
Also, I think the salt solution may be a little strong as I keep getting comments about the "Flour" (Dried salt) in my ears

i was at the docs with blocked up ears and he asked me how i cleaned them - i told him cotton buds dipped in olive oil - he shrugged and said - "I suppose its ok" - then he told me the only thing you should put in your ears are your elbows!!!! :dontknow:
he reckoned your body will fix itself in time -- then he'd be out of a job!!!!

dont trust doctors anyway

carna pies!!!!!
