It is in two halves, iam stood on a small bridge between the two, there are almost as many fish on the other side it is spring fed hence the clear water,so no water changes. The pond is in the grounds of a Temple and the visitors pay for food to feed the fish, any movement and there up on the surface waiting. There are koi, common carp, tillapia and several types of catfish one in paticular grows huge and seems to eat about everything.I had some in my pond for a while and within days they where hand tame fighting for food. The very high stocking comes from the visitors buying fish from the monks and putting them in the pond, i think its good luck in Thailand, surprising seeing they eat about everything else that moves.

Now we know how they walk on water :D

Being spring fed waste would be being constantly flushed downstream.

Me thinks the monks secretly decrease the stocking when everyone has gone home!
