Yeah, dunno Castaway. I've just emailed Muzz about it because I know you guys have a new DVD coming out soon.

When I went through all of the trademark registration process it was a case of providing a good enough argument to convince them. I had to provide as much supporting evidence as possible to do with how, where, and for how long I had been using the term "Backyard Aquaponics" and how intrinsic it was to what I had been doing etc..

All sort of depends on how much money you have and how much you want to throw at it... The old Ugg boots didn't stand up to the "generic terms" clause.... :dontknow:

They are starting to push on youtube now with some really useless adverts..

If you have 20 seconds, please click the link below. Just under the you tube video you'll see that you can give it a "thumbs up" or a "thumbs down" depending on whether you like it or not...

I had found another one yesterday as well but can't find it now...

I've just had a look through some of the comments on the site from the weekend and I can see that this product is not very popular within your community.

I intend on removing the product right away and will be looking for some more local products to promote to people interested in aquaponics in Australia.

Regarding the images on the site, when putting the site together I have copied these images from various sites and been diligent in checking that any pics I copied did not have a copyright claim anywhere on the page which by law means they are public domain and free to use.

Again I do not want to upset anyone at all and I will remove the images now as you and your friends obviously do not appreciate my using them.

Sounds like a bit of a win, nice work guys.... :thumbright:

And I told him he need to research copyright laws a little better..

Wealth of information, just the one page with links to buy the AP4U guide..

Does anyone recognize this picture? Anyone know who'd system it is?

It looks very familiar.... I found it on another dodgy marketing website that was using my pics as well.

along the grapevine is fine, I know them, they give a link and credit, and they aren't commercial as such.

The youtube on is a bit harder......

Did a google image search and found the same pic on a photobucket site which belongs to jthenhaus - there is a username matching that on BYAB but it has been a while since they have been online.
