oh yeah, I'll bring home some pics of aquatic bugs next week and put them up

I know you're teasing Jaymie. You have a camera/ microscope to die for. I saw a sneak preview today.
We desperately need that sort of equipment here in the entomology dept. (Research and design).

Stand corrected it could be a cowpea aphid, they both look the same but apparently the babies of the green peach tree one are not black but the cowpea are, so either way its an aphid, now just got to get rid of them

Slugs
Hate them since destroy small seedlings and almost impossible to get rid of them. Early mornings and sunset are a good time to catch them. Flooding the GB also is practised. F

Keep looking Dduncomb, I reckon there are probably tiny caterpillars around.
Also look for signs of droppings and slime trails, it will give you more of a clue as to the culprit.

Tania was tidying up around the growbeds and from time to time will sample the produce, well wasn't she in for a surpise this time as she got more than she bargained for. Thankfully this cherry tomato ended up on my desk.

Shield bugs, Joel says that I am not allowed to release them here :(
If I can keep them contained I'll post shots as they grow up :)
