How did i miss out on this topic?!

I think the minimum wage is higher here. Generaly Tipping is "volountary" and i think is becoming more the norm becasue of how much US TV we watch. I tell ya what the service has to be "above and beyond" for me!

Redback spiders are trumped up a bit as far as we were told in all the levels of first aid it did. (Maybe we needed something to keep the americans out ;)) Only a few people have actually died from them and i think that included a baby and an oldie. But make no mistake they are meant to be excruciating pain.

We get cool TV shows about a year after you, forcing people to use P2P programs ;)

Its a great place to live, and if you move to victoria you have the benifit of being close to me ;) AND having 4 seasons in one day ;) Thank GOD it finaly bloody rained tonight (for about 30 minute at the most) ;)

Oh and no, not EVERYONE has a koala in their backyard and kangas roaming down the suburban st

MY only prerequisite for an american entering australia (on holiday or to live) is learn how to bloody well pronounce Aussie.......think ozzy :)

Oh, and i think the crime rate is lower here per/capita

So michael, to sum up our animal treats to an immigrant...............

You'll be marveling at a koala in a tree, while a kanga sneaks up behind you and kicks you in the guts, sending you flying into the shrubs where redbacks are nesting. A redback bites you and while it doesn't kill you you'll be writhing in pain passing in and out of consiousness. Dusk falls and the possums come out and scratch your eyes out so you can't see the tipan snake as you stumble through the bush. The snake ultimatly kills you and the arid sun dessicates your body so its found perfectly preserved 10 years later. You won't have been declared missing becasue your wife will have gone for a swim in a pictureesque inland water body unaware that it is inhabited by 100 crocs lying inwait for the unsuspecting tourist.

So when u booking your flight?
