I would reduce them down to 25 mm. Looking at your last diagram with six valves coming off one 50 mm pipe, the total openings of six 25 mm valves is still far greater then the main 50 mm pipe.

Well, that's how I look at it. Mainly I would do it because smaller valves are cheaper.

Yep... get a 50mm/25mm tee for each grow bed outlet... and a 25mm ball valve to control the inflow...

That's exactly what I used on both the Holmes-A-Court and Shoalhaven jobs...

Is either one better than the other? Is there enough pressure from SLO to do what it needs to in the first idea?

Finally got all the plumbing (only missing the bulkhead for the FT).

How the place i wanted to have the setup is in full sun light after about 10am and its next to corrugated fence.

Would it be better to have it under a little BBQ area which gets sun in the morning then later into the afternoon?

Some new pics.

Took me a few days to silicon it up

Cut down a small pine tree to bury the sump.

After hours of digging through pine roots, i hit 70-80mm roots from free just on the fence line. Looking at my job maybe 40% i gave up. There is too many trees there anyways and leaves will get into everything.

I relocated to my undercover area.

Ideally setup for the FT and GB. It gets morning light then dusk light. Hope thats enough for the plants. The sump sits below it.
