I have moved and started my system all over again. The BYAP bed has been going since Mid Dec with approx 20 SP varying in size from 100mm to 400mm. I have been running Constant flow and the it cycled in about 2 weeks. I added the Blue barrels about 3 weeks ago. Some of the plant were seeds others were seedling.

Slowly - as in no progress. Hopefully that will change this weekend.

Got a pic? Could be a swarm forming. Time to put in a hive?

JD, I got 1000ltr (265gal) fishtank, A 300ltr bathtub underneath for the yabbies/crawdads. Total Grow bed is appox 900ltrs (235gal). I am looking at adding another 2000ltr tank when it cools down here for trout and about another 1500ltr of grow bed. Wife is onboard so no issues with that.

Redbeard,
Glad to see you are in town. :wave1: I just got the movie Yellowbeard on DVD excellent flick. :shifty: Anyway I don't really want the bees so you can have em. I would like it if they at least left some honey but just been stung a couple of times instead. MY SP are going great only lost the one at the first week. The heat has had me bit worried though. Have you put something around the pump to keep it eating up your fish? You welcome to pop around grab the bees. I have developed some sort of damn allergy to beer. :upset: So I have switched to Tequila instead. Welcome to a Jimmy Buffet Margarita if you make the trip.
