G Day to all. Throught I would come back and show you our system as it is now.We built a CHOP system, decided to leave the two fish tanks seperate with one sump which is an IBC tank cut in half and joined up. Supplying both fish tanks is a 6000lt/hr dirty water pond pump. We also like the idea of the bell syphons as it eliminates the number of mechanical things that can break down. The air pump supplys 80 lt/hr with 6 stones in each side. If we get a power failure the bildge pumps will automaticly come on one in each tank they pump 800 gallons/hr they are pointing up to break the surface and hopefully supply enough air. I brought a 12volt DC air pump from Guppys and will put that instead of the bildge pumps if you guys dont think it will be enough. The shade house was free to a good home, which was a good score I had to buy the up rights and shade cloth for the roof. ImageImage

Cheers

I am so jealous right now. Wish I had that much space and a shed that big in my back yard.

That is a nice set up you have there.

Are you using a SLO to remove solids from your fish tanks?

Nice.... Did you make the fiberglass bits from scratch or is it adapted from something else?
