Hey all been a while so thought it may be time for an update. Had the courtyard system up and running for 3 and a half months now and got heaps of broccolli, silverbeet and starting to get some nice cauli's from it now. 20 trout have more than doubled in size and added 2 scoops of chelated iron in last week as there appears to be a defficiency there.
Cheers

Dingo

PH started off around 8.2 but is slowly dropping down to 7.8 ish now rupe, so could that be holding out the minerals as I read from reading all the posts on the forum. I am at work at the moment and will post some pics up next week.
Cheers

Have been trying to put up some pics of the system but they wont upload for some reason, is there a specific size that they need to be.IU have found that the broccoli and the caulis have turned out really spindly as there is loads more stems than anything. Anyone got any ideas on that and how I can get a better batch next time. Just planted some tomatoes and chillies also. I have aquired 5 blue drums and am up in arms with what I can do with them. me is thinking maybe a 200lt fingerling tank to keep the fish stocking constant all year (20 silvers or trout/barra dependant on season), a couple or 4 100lt marron tanks and 4 or 6 100lt growbeds. I am open to suggestions as they cost me a bottle of bundy. Current system is a courtyard with one bed and 20 trout. I knew it would not take long to start tinkering.

Cheers

Dingo

Keep up the good work. I got my SP from Carey at Gidgyganup.
A couple of wonky ones got in so just make sure that they are all looking proper.

Lovely looking fish, well done :)
Mmmm trout, I miss trout.
Too warm here, but I hear some people raise them up in the hills.
Never seen them for sale though.

Could the Editors please remove my post re Mr cary as it sounds like I was dissing his product which was not my intention.
I just had a pop eyed one from him but I am sure it was not his intention to put it in.
Buyer beware is all I am saying which applies to any transaction.
Thankyou, Skipd. :)
Plus he breeds SP so chances are he has some.
