Yes - Merry Xmas to all the Ellenbrook AP'ers and to all AP'ers in general.

I too will be planning a bbq/gathering sometime in the new year - just have to get my setup completed and finish a few things off around the back yard - almost 4 years in the house and the back yard is still not complete!

Sweet PJ

I spent xmas with my brother there last year. Caught some awesome fish. Blew the motor in my car as well. But the fish literally paid for it.

Have a good one

Mark

Hi all! Just wondering if the Ellenbrook AP'ers 'group' is still active? The posts seem to be a little quiet, or are you all posting elsewhere as well on the forum?

No, not new. Have been in Ellenbrook for a couple of years now. Have had my IBC system just a couple of months and hope to make another one over Christmas. Hence why Ive only really bothered to read post on this forum recently.

Only just discovered from this post that I am not the only aquaponics addict in Ellenbrook. I have been a lurker intermittently on this forum for about 12 months. I have a standard BYAP kit with 3,000 litre fish pond and 5 grow beds. First season was last summer which was quite good. Well and truly cycled by this winter but plant gowth very slow (except for broad beans) due to Silver Perch going on a 5 month fast. Hoping for better things now that water temp has crept above 20 deg C.
My wife and I woudl be happy to host an Ellenbrook BBQ if people are interested. If you wanted BBQ fish, you will have to bring your own fish however as mine need another 6 months to reach plate size.
