Depends on what sort of frame you have them on Dwayno and how much support it has, if they are metal frames then welding extra supports should be no problem.

Sorry Gnash06, should have explained better. More worried about the sideways bowing than the bottom, I have an virtually unlimited supply of 50mm gal pipe which I am going to make the stands out of so support for bottom will not be a problem.

I used a 5500litre poly rainwater tank.

I cut the bottom 400mm off it and the rest I cut into circles for above ground gardenbeds.

My growbed measures 1900mm x 400mm, circle, no bowing....

Oblong may have issues. Does he make round ones?

Also, sound like the slimline rainwater tank...RupertofOz used them before but as fishtank I think.

To combat any bowing, get your mate to put some ribs in it.

Thanks vlt, was originally going to use round tanks but the oblong fit in better and I will have less wasted space.

Might just get one made to start with and set it up for a while and see how it goes.
