Sorry to hear about the damage to your system and fish losses :support: , but congratulations to your son. Know how proud you must be. Our son has just completed 5 years at Uni with Master's in Nanotechnology and Honours in Science and now he's hoping for a scholarship to do his PhD!

Will be watching this thread as I know you will soon have everything back on track, with more knowledge to share with the rest of us :study:

Yes and no... a Bakki is a high flow filter... rather than a "slow" flow "trickle" filter...

Noticed one of the Silver Perch seemed to have "scratch" marks... you can see it toward the end of the video....




Guess I'll just have to eat it....

So, Silver Perch might not be as furious as Trout when they eat.... but they're still kind of cute...










Tank temp today is only 23.5.... they've been a lot more animated at feed time over the last few days when the temp has been around 30 degrees....

Hi Rupe... How do you prepare your Silvers for eating??? I really enjoyed mine steamed with Spring Onion and Ginger - served with Soy Sauce.
